GOB Community Ambassadors are members of the Community, public or service industry who advocate for Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Community Ambassadors keeps GOB apprised of events our individuals can participate in, available resources and volunteers opportunities.
If you are interested in becoming a Community Ambassador, please submit a complete request for more information expressing your area of interest and availability to serve.
Please be advised that some may be required to pass criminal background checks, other screening processes; and required to undergo the same rigorous training as required by GOB growth partners and approved by DBHDS depending upon the level of access to and around program individuals.
